Nordstern

Nordstern, Westquaistrasse 19, 4057 Basel

Techno

Southstar makes music the way memory works — a rush of half-remembered euphoria, warped just enough to feel like it belongs to you. The German producer builds tracks that sit somewhere between the sweat of a dancefloor and the blue glow of a phone screen at 3am, chasing that specific ache where nostalgia and now collide. He's less interested in being the loudest voice in the room than in engineering the moment everyone in it suddenly moves at once — a quiet architect of collective, slightly melancholic joy.
