What this site collects

ravescanner.ch lists techno events crawled from venues' and promoters' own public pages. Browsing it requires no account, and we ask you for nothing.

Visitor statistics

We measure how the site is used with Matomo, which we host ourselves on our own server. No analytics data goes to Google or any other third party, and none of it leaves Switzerland.

It is configured so that it does not identify you. That is why this site shows no cookie banner and asks for no consent:

• No cookies. Nothing is stored on your device and nothing is read from it — not cookies, not local storage.
• Your IP address is truncated before it is stored: three of its four parts are discarded, leaving only a coarse region.
• No individual profiles. Per-visitor logs and visitor profiles are switched off, so we see aggregate totals and cannot follow one person around.
• No tracking across sites, and nothing is used for advertising.
• Raw data is deleted after 180 days. Only aggregate counts remain.

The measurement tag is not loaded at all for signed-in maintainers.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to dancescanner.ch@gmail.com and we will answer.

Event details and promoter contacts shown here were already published publicly by the organisers. If something about your event should not be listed, write to the address above and we will remove it.
